SANDRA JAMES – as Pat Benatar
Born and raised in California. Sultry singer and passionate performer sings a variety of genres:Rock, Country, Pop, Disco, R & B, Jazz in various local cover bands throughout California for over two decades. Influences: Heart, Benatar, Aretha, Etta, Aguilara, Shakira, Stevie Nicks, Gladys Knight, Alanna Miles, Linda Ronstadt, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Sting, many, many others.
She has album credits on a new country CD soon to be released and as lead on a Pat Benatar tribute CD due for release this summer.
Sandra has surrounded herself with top musicians with the goal of becoming the premier Benatar tribute band in the country.
SEAN MICHAEL CLEGG as Neil Giraldo
Sean joins Crimes of Passion with an extensive resume and performance background spanning more than 30 years. He taught himself guitar, and began teaching professionally at an early age. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Guitar and was inducted into the National Honor Society of Music. Sean is proficient in several types of music including progressive/melodic rock, metal, blues, jazz and classical. Often working as a sight-reading studio guitarist, Sean has appeared on dozens of professional releases in a variety of genres.
With a refined sound and known for his musicianship, vocals and stage presence, Sean has performed live in many professional bands touring the country and appearing on national radio and TV programs. Sean is also an accomplished songwriter, publisher and producer. He owns his own publishing company, Beautiful Noise Music ASCAP, and has produced local bands, artist demos and CDs.
STEPHEN ZIPPER – Bass
Bass player & and singer hails from Texas where he started playing guitar at the age of 13 & and bass at age 19. Stephen’s music career includes 2 “TOBY BEAU” albums and a #1 single “MY ANGEL BABY”, which has taken him around the world opening for “THE DOOBIE BROTHERS”, “BOB SEEGER”, “FOREIGNER” and “THE OUTLAWS”. Moving to Los Angeles in 1987, Stephen started a career as a recording engineer while playing in various local original and cover bands.
MARK KELLY – Drums
Mark recently came off of a tour playing drums with Jack Russell’s “Great White”as well as the “Legends of Rock” band. He has also played and recorded with accomplished artists such as Duff MacKagan and Gilby Clarke of “Gun n’ Roses”, “Warrant”, “Crimson Crowbar”, featuring John Avila (Oingo Boingo), Willie K blues guitarist, and T.M. Stevens, funk bassist. Early influences include Buddy Rich and John Bonham. Mark’s current endorsements include Aquarian drumheads and Sabian cymbals
DESI D’Amani – Background Vocals
Desi has been in entertainment for the majority of her adult life , working as a dancer, singer and an actress. Studying Theatre Arts at Vanguard University in Southern California, she received her Bachelor of Arts with the anticipation of entering the entertainment field full time …. Landing a few performance gigs including a “two night” deal with Kenny Metcalf as Elton, which turned into a steady gig that has landed her on AXS TV’s worlds Greatest Tribute bands with Kenny Metcalf as Elton John, “Natural Wonder”. In addition, she has performed with A Tribute to Stevie Wonder as a backing vocalist and the upcoming newest season as a backing vocalist for Crimes of Passion, A Tribute to Pat Benatar.
